Wanted to pull some supers but rain started as soon as we got home.
Still raining.Now just kicking back on BYC

Went to an Orthopedic doctor today. Have had chronic back pain since I broke my hip in 2023...

Went grocery shopping. Bought chick grower & scratch-feed on the way home...

Will work on my afghan, but right now I feel very sleepy...

Extracted the honey. TEN quart jars!

Freya ran off.
Scared the crap out of us.
She came back after an hour.
My throat still hurts from calling her.
I have a big deer fly bite on my shoulder.
I will sleep well tonight.

You want rain? We're pushing for 4" here (3.75) and still coming down. Yard flooded but in this sand box it will perk in 15 minutes.

Final total 4.23". Creeks will swell overnight, DW and I will kayak tomorrow on a 6hr run with NO WEEK END CROWDS!

I put all the boxes from the basement into the cubby hole under the stairs.
I planned to go to bed early, but obviously that isn't happening.
I will do a Polish lesson then go to bed.

He's a very experienced kayaker, I've been in one once. I've been canoeing once. I didn't really enjoy either, and he needs his alone time doing something he enjoys.

And wow, do I have weeds in the garden to pull!
