I woke up too early.
I'm holding down the fort today (not a tall order).
I'll prep a gift for my BIL.

We've been holding hands since we were 15!My hubby and I hold hands and he always says, "I got ya"![]()

When I wanted to trade in my then 20-year-old Golden, the dealer would only give me $30 credit on it. I figured I could sell it myself for twice that, so I took it to my go-to repairman for a quick tune-up. He strongly advised me to keep it, saying that "these old machines might as well be cast iron. They last forever." Was he ever right! With minor maintenance and regular cleaning, my 55-year-old Singer is still running strong. With the original hard case and all the accessories (including the book,) I was recently offered $350 for it. I turned him down with no reservations. That old machine is my tried-and-true workhorse and a treasured piece of my childhood!Mine is a Singer Touch n' Sew 2. I've had it repaired a couple of times. Last year I brought it to a store in Boaz and had them go through it and replace any worn parts. Boy, that machine is heavy to move around.
