I cooked blueberry pancakes for breakfast.
Raked out the duck hut down to the dirt. Put in fresh hay.
We are moving the ducks to another duck hut, so I added fresh hay to it.
The old duck hut will house my Cream Legbar rooster and his three girls. My son put in a roost for them and I added a laying box. Will add another this week.
Finished outside work.
Had my shower.
About to meal prep work lunches for hubby and make lunch for my guys.

I've been wanting to tell you, Keeks, but keep forgetting. My sister is turning 50 tomorrow. She's a real 50, not a faker 50

Today we cleaned out our chimney. It wasn't as dirty as I expected it would be, and it was light, fluffy stuff. I was afraid it would be the tarry sticky stuff full of creosote.

That is a load off both our minds. We're ready for another season of fires in the woodstove.

We need to do this soon.
Also, need to have two weekends of chopping and stacking firewood.
