I started using pine mulch on my vegetable and flower beds last year. It's not 100% on weeds, but it's better? Maybe? Depending on the weed, they can be kind of therapeutic to pull!
 
Today I will...
1. Mentally recuperate. It was a late night of troubleshooting, then up early to bring the girls back outside. Getting real tired of this hot, humid, "record-breaking" weather.
2. Spend some relaxing time on BYC.
3. Do some light cleaning and laundry.
 
I gave Kramer a bath and dried him off. We both wound up getting soaked in the process.
(He is a black and gray Goldendoodle.)
I’m still cleaning for company b/c we are having a big Independence Day shindig. 🇺🇸 🗽🎆
I just put my wet tennis shoes in the washer because they are soaked from washing Kramer.
And I need to make potato salad and a couple gallons of sweet tea.
 
I will weed the garden, yell at Thor for escaping the fenced in backyard, yell at him some more for rolling in poop during his excursion. When hubby comes home, we will figure out how the dog escaped
 
Picked up our repaired hydraulic cylinder. It was damaged when the MF2675 was stuck & sinking in the mud...

Cleaned up more of the planks, it seems never ending. Grandson was to help, but he is too tired.

Came in, took a bunch of Tylenol. Need to strip the bed and start a load of laundry...
