Bagged up all of the smoked meat and put in the freezer.
Decorated for autumn.
Washed laundry.
Made a trip to the co-op.
Use some of the smoked meat and made a pot of Brunswick stew for supper. Have a peach and blueberry cobbler in the oven now.

Yesterday I put out lime and pine bark with hope that the lime will help decompose the feed on the floor faster and the pine bark strong smell will somehow deter those nasty rodents.

This morning I checked, the rodents came back last night and had a party in 3 of my chicken runs, their poops are everywhere and it was a big clean up again.

So what I will do today...

I did the rodent poops clean up already
Check out on the rodent proof feeder
Monitor the rodent poop eating hen

And calm myself down....I am feeling at the moment that this is getting to me big time, this is my last flock of chickens, there is no energy left in me to march on. Endless illness, bullying, fighting, broodiness, and now rodent infestation...I am calling it a day now.

I think we are the same person. Hang in there, Sky! Of course your chickens want to eat the rat poops...

I cleaned up the garden that the deer trashed. Very little left growing or to do in that garden.
I canned the salsa hubby made.
I did a load of laundry.

Went with Hubby to buy a 2015 Bobcat wheeled Skid-Steer at a farm equipment dealership. It's used but it's in good condition.

Went to KFC to buy 16 piece, chicken only. Walked out with buying, the bill came up to $40.69! That was way too much

Will crochet after dinner.

Took the dogs to the vet.
Booked the cat in to be clipped tomorrow.
Will go get more wood shavings so I can clean more chicken pens.

I helped my dad work on removing the moldy side of the house. And that's pretty much all that happened today!

I went for a run, got my best non-race time ever, I was pretty happy about that
Crocheted a bunch.
Studied medications.
Watered plants and picked green beans for my friend.
Separated my blind hen because the cockerel will not leave her alone and I can’t stand it any longer.
I will study more

Scattered showers forecast for today. I will try to get some garden cleanup done.
And/or make mild salsa out of the few green tomatoes the deer left for me.
