Mmmm, peanut butter recipe please. Is it more than just crushed peanuts?

peanut butter recipe please.

Most of the time it is just peanuts run through a food processor. But I have done more than that many times. For instance:

--1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon and a scant 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
--using honey roasted peanuts
--using a mix of nuts (almonds! )
--adding honey

Note: If you add honey, the time it takes to make PB increases significantly. From about 6-8 minutes to about 30! I've found it helps to make the PB, then add honey and run the food processor again until it's butter consistency. Which can take another 15 minutes.

Since there are no emulsifiers, the oil will separate, so I store it in the fridge. I've never had any go bad, but with a name like Sally PB, you might imagine that I eat a lot of peanut butter. It doesn't have a chance to go bad.
