2) run the irrigation system (as it is another very warm day, without rain in quite a while)

I love Scrabble! We’ll play Sequence (a favorite). Possibly Monopoly. The hubby and I are ridiculously competitive when it comes to games. My ‘strategery’ usually prevails, although lady luck smiles on him on occasion

Went to TSC prior to doing the above. The day after Christmas with an impending snow storm is not the best day to do so.

1. Walked in the snowstorm just as it was starting to get my steps in. We got over an inch just during the walk.
2. Cleaned up the kitchen from Christmas cooking and did a couple of loads of dishes.
3. Got a new light for a small coop where I am keeping some bantams in the garage until I can build them a permanent coop come spring.

Back to a somewhat normal routine.......
Worked for 3 hours on the garage clapboard, I feel very tired.
Let the chickens free-range while I was working.
Will crochet after dinner.

What I did today:
Not go out to breakfast with out-of-town friends, due to freezing rain.
Not slide off the road or have an accident while going out to breakfast, due to freezing rain.
Not deal with a power outage due to freezing rain.

Other than missing the breakfast, the rest was positive.

So far all I have done is get up, get dressed and have breakfast.
Have been having late nights playing card and board games with the sibs.
Got introduced to 7 which I had never heard of - fun.
Triominos is a must too.
