Tomorrow is the last day of 2025 here.

This the Mosaic Overlay afghan I finished yesterday. It took 4 months and there is about 6lbs of worsted weight 4 yarn. The pattern called for a fringe but I do not like fringe. I did an envelope border instead which enclosed all the edge tails. After it's washed/dried, I put my tag on it, take a photo and then put it away in a tote with the rest of them.

Wow! That is lovely! I know what you mean about not liking fringe... me neither. And the envelope border is a great idea. 6 pounds... a nice WARM blanket! I love heavy blankets.

Rode with DW for breakfast, and bank deposit
Stopped at grocery store for our big stay at home New Yrs Eve bash.
Got home made sure birds water wasn't froze and got a coat of paint on 2 deep and 2 medium hive supers.

Didn’t do much today…

Helped my friend learn how to use his new spinning wheel.
Went to the farm store to look for fake eggs—didn’t find any.
Will probably spin some yarn this evening.

Magnificent, @Love Donkeys, I have never seen anything like that brfore. Sure puts my Granny Squares and Broomstick and other simple designs to shame! Thank you for sharing!

It doesn't need moved but if you want it moved, go to that post and click on report. Ask for a moderator to move it to the thread you want it in.
