What do you do when it is this beautiful?
Roast chestnut, and have it with red wine?
Can you just roll over the snow? Is it easy to walk on?
I am thinking of the song...I am dreaming of white Christmas...
 
8am (CT) Defrosted gate latch and coop door lock to feed chickens....
1pm (CT) Defrosted gate latch and coop door lock to check on chickens and give them scratch-feed. ...
4:00pm (CT) Defrosted gate latch and coop door lock to put out extra feed....
24°F with a 15mph with freezing rain and sleet for tonight!
 
This is what our summer looks like for now....sunny, clear blue sky = very hot. When sky looks this clear, it is going to be dry heat and very high UV. For me, it means that my clothes dry quickly, water the lawn in the evening so that it will not turn brown being burned by the sun.

It has been forecast that we will continue to have lot of rain this summer.

I bet you would.:) Just like me when it gets so hot, so uncomfortable, I think of snow, falling snow, constantly drinking of cold water, washing my face, feeling like my skin is burning up whenever I come out into the garden. Skin cancer is a big health issue in Australia.

It does not feel cold reading about it. It looks beautiful, it is hot over here so I feel a bit cooler looking at your snowy photo. I am thinking it would be nice to sit out there with a nice hot cup of chocolate? Or better, have some rock music on and dance? It will warm up if it is very cold.
Our coldest winter night here is around 5 degree or your 41F. We freeze out, the air we exhale visible as smoke. That is very cold for us. :)

Your hot chocolate would freeze. When you touch metal with your bare hand your skin will stick (freeze) to it....
Below freezing temperatures with wind is downright miserable!!!

I hear you, but it is hard to imagine what it really like when I have not experience it. I must put on my bucket list to visit America, the cold and snowy part of America in winter season to experience this weather of nature.

To have my hot chocolate freeze up, that is not nice! :)

I live in northern Ohio. We experience both very hot and humid and very cold and snowy. I'll take the hot any day
