All y’all never grew up poor with the saying “eat what you get or don’t throw a fit” and it shows

Excuse me. I grew up poor and on food stamps. In the '80's. That is exactly why I hate sea food. Salmon patties were an approved food stamp food

We couldn't afford real fish. Salmon patties were it and they are horrendous

Powdered milk. Speaking of growing up poor. Mom used it to stretch the real milk among a family of six, but she didn't follow the directions. She mixed it skimpy. Even the smell of it is nauseating to me to this day. Although I do use it as a thickener for my yogurt.

Not if they're made right. Maybe you should try someone else's recipe. I love my own salmon patties but my ... I mean another cook I know made horrible ones. Practically inedible.

Maraschino cherries. They taste like the smell of plastic to me (if that makes sense).

Anything orange, lemon or lime flavored. I love oranges, lemonade, key lime pie, cherry limeades, lemon bars, ..... but just can't stand anything citrus with artificial flavoring. All my life I've missed out on the candy flavors of banana, green apple, watermelon, and mango - because they come in yellow, green and orange! I was always afraid of getting one of the three evil flavors. Likewise, NIX on the koolaid, jello, lifesavers, circus peanuts, lollipops, gatorade --- bleeeccchhh!!!

I'm like that with cherry flavoured things. Love cherries. Hate cherry flavouring.

I hate the not organic meat and eggs . Because I hate it when animals have a very poor life.

The only way to be sure animals had enough space to live , is buying organic or Demeter. Only then you can be sure they could have some kind of social life and could go outside in their short lives.

In the Netherlands we have specialised butcher shops for organic meat or you can buy labeled food with tree stars ️ ️ ️ .
