Got chickens from elderly chicken man!!!
# 1 - Age 2 yr. Female
# 2 - Age 2 yr. Female
# 3 - Age 2 yr. Female
# 4 - Age 7 mo. Female ( Sold to us as Ayam Cemani )
# 5 - Age 2 yr. Male ( Sold to us as Easter Egger )
# 6 - Age 2 yr. Female

Where did they come from? Hatchery or backyard breeder? They all looked mixed to me but if they are from a hatchery or feed store, they have to be something.

1 looks kind of like a California tan, but could just be a Leghorn mix.

2 is probably a Rhode Island red or RIR cross.

3 maybe a hatchery quality black Wyandotte. Could be a mixed breed, too.

4 not sure. Maybe a game hen, maybe an Ayam Cemani. Or maybe a mix.

5 looks like a Silkie crossed with something else.

6 maybe Sapphire Gem or blue Australorp.

Several of these birds look like they need treatment for scaly leg mites. To treat, coat legs with vaseline or coconut oil daily for maybe a week.

I stated at the beginning that I got from elderly chicken man.
Several of the the birds were from a rescue situation. They have come a long way since they have been in our possession. Can you tell me which ones look as if they have scaly leg mites?
