Name that breed!

Picked up some pullets at the feed store yesterday. I got different answers from different employees on what breeds they were. Tell me what you think they are.

1. This one I was told was an Ameraucana.

2. This one I was told was an Australorp.

3. This one I was told by one employee was an Ameraucana and another employee told me it was a Silver Laced Wyandotte. I think the second employee was correct.

4. This last one I was told was a RIR/Brama mix. I also think it is a cockrel based on its behavior and wing feathering, but we will see.

#4 looks just like the two Golden Comet pullets I have. Mine are almost three weeks old now. I believe they are a mix between a White Plymouth Rock and a New Hampshire Red. Basically a sex link.

One does look like and ameracauna. Just look at those little puffy cheeks! But the australorp looks a little light. All the ones we got were mostly black with yellow bellies. But I guess they can all have a little coloration diff as chicks.

#2 is an australorp, I'm pretty sure . I have 5 and they resemble the color pattern of yours.

I am pretty sure #4 is not a RIR. Probably a sex link.

#1 looks exactly like my Brown Leghorn did on day 1. I am no way positive though because a lot of different breeds look very similar.

#2 looks like a Speckled Sussex
#3 is a Silver Laced Wyandotte
#4 could be a Golden Comet, I just raised 25 of them and one turned out to be a roo but couldn't tell

I agree the #3 is a Silver Laced Wyandotte.

#4 may be a Gold Comet but I don't remember mine having the chipmunk type of stripe on it's back. Mine was a solid color with with wing tips. I have only raised one (so far) and so I don't have a lot of experience with color variations in them.
