Don't know if it's the same thing, but when we first moved here our Weims kept bringing back these baby groundhog-looking things. They must have found a nest, because we'd take them away and the next day they'd come back with another one. Strange.
5dollars says that is a oppossum the tail drag and the spread out toes is a common for the oppossum a weasel walks more on the tips of the toes and usually dont leave a tail mark.
