It's a shame he's a jerk because he's very handsome... but like others said, I would not tolerate a rooster who doesn't treat his girls well. Our roo, Rocky, is the ultimate lady's man and makes sure his girls are spoiled. For example, I was feeding them some mealworms recently and he didn't take any until his girls were satisfied with their take! Whatta guy.
Oh ok sorry, but just seeing that crest that is usually present when you cross a crested breed, so I went straight to either Silkie or Polish, seeing that he has no traits whats so ever of being a silkie cross, like a silkie crest 5 toes or drk skin, I just thought the other logicall breed would be polish.
But you guys are right he is just a pretty mutt!

I wont tolerate a mean nasty rooster either. He is not even in the coop tonight. He is in a crate in my sunroom till I can decide what to do with him. I got home today and he had one my my birds backsides bleeding and he had blood on his beek and wattles so I knew it was him. I have 2 stunning roosters each have their set of ladies and are not mean at all. One Blue laced red wyandotte and one Americana and both take care of their ladies and rarely even have altercations. This little roo....A real nasty one attacking everyone. I simply could not leave him in and let him hurt another hen. Its a shame because as we alla gree, he is so pretty.
He's a game mixed with something else. Hard to tell what else. He looks to be about a year old. He may calm down when he's a little older, but you have to decide if he's worth the effort. Call him a game rooster if you try to sell him.

Do you really want to sell him to some one else and then they have the same problem? I really think you should cull him. It's a hard thing to do but if he has the girls bleeding now you need to take care of them.
