Ever since we we got the girls they've looked an awful lot alike and have all been pretty spastic. Lately though they get interested in what I am doing if I am in the upstairs of the garage where they are kept and are especially keen on the noise that filling their watering can makes, but for the most part they really don't want much to do with people. Treats help a bit but usually it ends with a huddled mass of chickens in the corner of the pen.

The last day or so I have noticed that there is one who comes out of the huddled mass to see if I have something for them. Last night I took them some clover leaves and she immediately approached to see what I had. It is unmistakable. I told my wife about her last night and when she went up to see them this morning once again this particular chick came halfway across the pen to see me. I wouldn't put her in the category of tame but she certainly is the most friendly so she was the first to received her official name and that is Miss friendly.

I'll have to get a picture of her and post it for all to see.

And the coop portion of the lawn tractor is coming along nicely. I expect to have it done by next week and hopefully have the fenced enclosure ready as well.
