LOL, I decided not to name chickens anymore.
for one, do I need to make hard decisions, names make them harder.
2nd, I need to look too closely to make sure the bird is the one I am thinking about. I mean, they are all different. but not by much.
3rd not a minute after I left the birds in the care of my capable but vaguely uninterested child (od 25 years) they basically all were called A-hole, for trying to bust out of the enclosure and generally behaving badly.

YMMV, naturally.
can't wait to get another RIR....main A-Hole in the flock.
