Names for my chicken

Hey guys,
I've decided to call my new girls(when I get them) Penny, Betsy, Hilda and Henny.
What do you think?







All of my chickens have been Agi (Agapeter), Pepi (Pepeta), Loupe (Guadaloupe) (these are all Spanish names chosen by my sister who was learning Spanish at the time), Ruby and Doris.









How many chickens do you have and what are their names?

I have 5 black australorps...they are Nugget, Noodle, Dumpling, Fritter, and Henry the Hen.

I have 3 bantams that I just got on Friday, and haven't named them yet...but I'll be sure to give them all appropriate chicken dish names...Names under consideration include : Fricasse, Pot Pie, and Puff....


Don't worry...we won't be making any dishes out of them.

Easter egger - HENry Rollins
Easter egger - Lady Olga
White leghorn - Foghorn
Barred rock - Chicken (we think it's a rooster. don't want to get attached.)

I have two light sussex -
Daisy - named by my little girl
Peggy - named by my big girl

and two black australorp hybrids (with isa brown) -
Penny (Henny Penny) - named by me
Ozzie - named by my husband

Poor Ozzie was the only one who didn't get a "girl" name.
