My two Speckled Sussex are Brandy and Bourbon (because of their dark brown color). I mainly use liquor names and colors.

Buff Orphingtons - Sunny, Buffy, Buttercup
Rhode Island Reds - Rosie, Ruby, Penny, Pumpkin
Wheatan Ameracuanas - Bailey (as in Irish Liquor) and Amaretta (as in Amaretto Liquor)
Silver Penciled Rock - Silver
Brown Ameracaunas - Sierra, Sienna
Pure White Ameracauna - Alabaster (I call her Allie)
Brown Ameracauna Rooster - Whiskey
Black Jersey Giant - Jade (becasue of her pretty green sheen)
Blue Rock - Bleu (or Boo)

this is kinda an naming emergency but i am making name cards for my chickens at the county fair and everybody except my 2 speckled sussex hens have names but i would like to say that they need to have similar names because they are in a trio to help out sone the rooster that they are with is named shadow.

I named my Sussex "Pebbles" because she reminds me of a creek bed with pebble rocks. I also thought about the name "Dottie" but went with Pebbles instead. Stoney & pebbles would be good together. Both nature related, both go together & the sussex has distinctive spots like little rocks when they are all grown up.
