Names???

Soapy? Really? I want the story behind that! Like are we talking what our parents put on our birth certificates?

My family has had a Sabina in every generation for 7 generations, and it's my middle name. I named my daughter Sabina, as the first child of that generation, I wanted to snag it!! My three sisters would have been all over it.

My sisters are Naomi Tamar, Brianne (with the correct Gaelic pronunciation of Bree'-unn) Noel, and Heather Elizabeth. I'm Renee Sabina. My kids are Sabina Pearl and Lydia Faith. If we'd had a boy, he'd have been Emil Heathcliff. A second boy would have been Oliver or Oscar Vaughn. We have used all family names and believe that's important.

I knew a girl named Cinnamon, and another one named Satin. Poor things. Had a teacher name Rich Moneymaker. A 9 year lod man lives down the street: James Bond. The original, long before the books!

Olivia is one of the most popular names for little girls right now. Beulah is not so nice...

Hmmm, Dara is my name, and its pretty weird. And no one can pronounce it right. Dare-ah. Not dahr-ra. If that even makes sense. No wonder I go by my middle name.
