naming the coop

It's for your daughters right? What are their names? How old? Trying to decide if it should be girly name or charming, etc......

I live with, and love, and engineer. He did not simply build me a 4x8 coop and a 4x6 tractor, he built two Cadillacs. Those two are named, as one might guess. The Escalade and The Seville. My joint effort with a friend measures 4x8 and is known to all as The Caravan. The 8x10 metal building is known as The Box Truck.

Naming coops is much easier than naming the chickens themselves!

the coop is for my seven year old daughter, we painted murals inside.

I had thought of a bunch of names, but, none that really grabbed me.

Chirp and Dales (after the cartoon of course)

Yolk and Mindy's (after Mork and Mindy, na nu na nu)

McChickens (my daughter loves McDonalds)

Shake n' Bake Inn

Featherduster Motel

etc etc. still contemplating.

Featherduster Motel is pretty darn good!

Yolk and Mindy... Cute if you are 40 or older...Do you really want a name your daughter will NEVER understand? No.
I know this because I have 12 yo twins that don't get any Fonzie, Squiggy or Columbo reference.

How about "The Dormanicker"?
