Naming your chicken?? Question?

Mine all have names (9 birds) but I have 3 kinds. Buff Orps, SL wyand, and 5 amber links.
Each have different markings or shades of colors. I didn't name them all at once...only as I could tell them apart.
I say their name to them when I talk to them, but they don't come to their name when called.
