Nankins as broodies for standard size eggs

I would love to hear if anyone is doing this. How many standard size eggs can they hatch? What size standard eggs? How many times does a hen go broody in a year? Any info/discussion is greatly appreciated.

I'm interested too, I have recently started having ducks, I have 4 eggs as of this week! They litterally just started to lay. I would like to know when the eggs can be incubated because mine don't seem to be brooding.

When will I know if an egg left by my duck is going to be a duckling or just an edible egg? I've found 5 in a row these past 5 days, thank you

1 each day, I find them in the morning in the same spot with no ducks on it lol when I let them out at 7am.

As long as you’ve got a Drake in with your hens your eggs should be fertile. You can crack your eggs open. If you see a little white ring with a dot in on they are fertile or you could stick the eggs in an incubator and candle the eggs at day 7

Thank you so very much! Should I leave her eggs there in the hay? They are out of the pen all day before going to bed. I'll check 1 of the eggs tomorrow! Thank you so much for the awesome information and your kind in helping me

Not all ducks will go broody. If you want ducklings, best to just incubate them yourself.
