Narragansett about to hatch

This egg was just put in lockdown and is scheduled to hatch Wednesday but I think we might be a little ahead of schedule as rocking has started on day 24.

this chick hatched a day early, healthy and happy, and is now with two and four week old siblings. Staggered hatches with turkeys are not too bad!

Awesome! I have 6 going on lockdown tomorrow and 11 on day 10. I candled the 10 day batch and removed a clear (the egg was cracked to start) leaving me with 11, and 10/11 had a moving pollywog in them!

And the girls have each laid an egg the last 3 days, and letting them brood their own. Wonder how many they will stack before they go broody!
