Native plants, I need help and suggestions

I live in Northwest Georgia and I'm looking into planting some native plants. I like "old timeie" things and so I thought that old fashoned plants that are native to where I live would be neat. I need all the suggestions I can get.

sounds like your best move would be to contact your county extension office or gardening club. They could direct you to native, non-invasive plants that should do well in your area.
