Natural branch perch/ladder pics?

Hi everyone- newbie here,
I’m in the process of building a small 5x4 coop and would like to use natural branches inside coop for the perch and perch ladder.. looking for pictures and/or any suggestions. Thanks!

Knowing your location would help. If it freezes where you are, you want wider roosts than a round branch so the chickens can cover their toes at night.

This is a picture of a corner of our run. The branch is a maple limb. They were young then. They all fit. No more.

I am in Southern NJ not far from DE. It can get to 0 in winter at times but that is extreme. Mostly 20”s and 30’s... thanks
