natural dewormer

I don't know of any, but food grade DE is small fossilized exoskeletons, to i would say that's natural. it works by drying up the worms i think...

Food grade DE is safe for all animals and humans, internally and externally. It is recommended that you wear a face mask when working with it because it is very fine (like flour).

Dried unsaltedPumpkin seed have been roomered to be a good natural wormer it probably only works occasionaly I havent seen any worms in my birds stool but they may not have been exposed to any and they did eat alot of pumpkin seeds.

can you use a microscope to check the worm load on chickens like you can on goats? has anyone done this? or similar?

thanks

I used Milk Thistle seeds for my horses as a natural dewormer. I am sure it would work for chickens as well as other animals too. It's also a good liver tonic too. I purchase all my herbs from www.texasnaturalsupply.com . Her prices are very reasonable and all her herbs are either wild-harvested or wild-crafted. Basically, they are organic they just don't have the organic seal of approval on them otherwise she would have to increase her prices.
