Natural remedy for bugs in the coop

What is something I can put in the coop to kill or repel bugs? I dont want to spray poison. Thanks.

Well my problem is mostly spiders, on the ceiling. I sprayed poison in there looooong before any chickens moved in. That killed them all, then I washed out the inside really good before the girls moved in. It's been a couple months but now I've seen a couple spiders again. I just can't stand the thought of one getting in my hair because I have low ceilings. Eeeek! -i know, how girly of me lol
