natural wormers?

I was just wondering what kind of wormers you can give chickens that is natural so you don't have to stop eating the eggs

I use a product called Verm-X. I feed it in an oatmeal mash every 6 weeks or so for 4 days. But I waited until after I had done the normal worming process with Wazine and Ivermectin to handle any initial problems.

Cayenne Pepper;

It`s a natural wormer. Mix it heavily with your feed to turn it red. Pepper in the front, worms run out the back. Chickens don`t have the heat receptors like most critters, so they eat it up. Worms, on the other hand, heh, heh. You can still eat the eggs. Repeat in 10 days to get the new worms.........Pop

Where do you get your Verm-X from? Seems like it is only sold in the UK

Really? You just put it in their feed and they don't have the senses that tells them its HOT!!!!! What is the ratio food to pepper. Or how many tbs.'s. Once and then another dose in 10 days? Dosage would help me because I have a LOT of Caynene pepper. You have done this yourself right?

Or you can perform a voodo ritual or have a priest do an exorcism but if you really want to get rid of worms use a legit wormer.
Just my opinion of course.

VooDoo sounds like fun

! Well I tried putting Cayenne on their scrambled eggs which they adore. No way they said and left it untouched. So much for my hens liking Cayenne pepper. I do use the garlic in the water though. For immune building and also I think it helps with some parasites but I may be wrong. It is tough to find a wormer that you can use periodically for maintenance that is natural. We do the tablespoon of vinegar in a gallon of water once a month.

I put about 2tbs of fresh chopped garlic in a shallow dish with some water and they eat it up! I do this for 4 hens.
