Looks like they're predicting a G3 storm for tonight/tomorrow morning. Perhaps you far northerners will get a chance of seeing/photographing an aurora...

I got good news. I finally fixed my telescope. It wasn’t easy, but I was finally able to fix it. It turns out I had the 3-D print apart for it, but I was printing the wrong part. I had to design something myself.

It turns out instead of a piece that holds the gear in place, I needed to 3-D print a small tube, about 8.75 mm in diameter, with a 6.25mm hole in the middle. All this was about 4 mm high.

I simply put it on the shaft of the gear where the problem was happening. And now the telescope is working perfectly. The telescope went straight to Mars, and went straight to the ring nebula, as well as the great globular cluster and Hercules.

I got this picture last night.

The final test will be Sunday night. I’m traveling to Spokane, Washington on family business. I’m bringing the telescope so I can do the test.
