I'm thinking about making a trip to the smokies this fall and try some trout fishing. I'm not much of a landscape shooter but I'll be in a lot of small streams and would like to get some blurred motion/water images like this. What size ND do you typically use and what size lens "typically" (I know it will change some depending on location).Fish Creek, AZ in winter. Really hard to get to this spot now after a large widlfire and subsequent monsoon storms washed out the access road.

Shockingly, I don't even have a set of ND filters. This was just high aperture (f/22) and a 3 sec shot with a -1.67 exposure bias. It was also overcast, later in the day, and down in a gulley so I had more shade to work with. I shot it with an 18/200 at 110mm (165mm full frame) Just a typical 72mm barrel "walking around" lens. If I'm going to do some dedicated landscape stuff more close-up, a 70mm , 50mm, 35mm depending. And my 16mm for wide landscapes.I'm thinking about making a trip to the smokies this fall and try some trout fishing. I don't either, lol. Good to know. I have a polarizing filter so that should help a little bit in blocking light. I may grab one ND for my largest lens then I can use some step down rings for the smaller ones.Shockingly, I don't even have a set of ND filters.
