So the 1st cold snap that hit North Carolina where it got down until like 11degrees at night, this was the 2 nights before it dropped. Funnily enough it made the same colors last night. We are dropping again tomorrow night so I'll see if I can catch it tonight. How did you capture the sunset so beautifully? I can never take a photo of a sunset.
That's unfortunate. No luck. Spotted it with binocs, bit could not get good pics. Too much moon and a bit of low dust caused ugly lighting backscatter.
I expected to strike out, but it was worth trying. That's unfortunate.

It's supposed to last for a while right? I'm covered in clouds until Friday....No luck. Spotted it with binocs, bit could not get good pics. Too much moon and a bit of low dust caused ugly lighting backscatter.
Yes, probably at least the next few weeks, but it will get more faint nightly. problem is the moon is full on the 5th, so it's absolutely wrecking things since the comet is near polaris and they're in super close proximity. It's supposed to last for a while right? I'm covered in clouds until Friday....
Wow, magical. I feel like im in a movie.Behold! Water in the desert!
