Swallow tail and monarchs 😁
Same! Frederick was a swallowtail. He was in his chrysalis for 3 months. I thought it was dead! He was in my dining room which is pretty much dark all the time, so maybe that's why? He literally went into his chrysalis mid June and emerged in early september😐😶 Google said it would take 2 weeks. Nope. Frederick had other plans. Monarchs are so easy though.

Technically speaking, the mission to photograph the comet this morning was a success. However, I feel a little disappointed in how dim it was.

I've been photographing wildlife for several years and I really enjoy it. I like being out in nature, but I rarely take time to photograph it, without the animals, lol. I'm looking to broaden my horizon as a photographer, so I'm going to try and take more nature pics. I bet there are many people here that like taking photos of nature too. Landscapes, trees, flowers, the sky, anything in nature goes. If you have some nature pics, feel free to post them here!
Love this !

Went comet hunting this morning, didn't see anything. Will have to see if I can find it in the western sky.

Here's a sunrise, and a completely unexpected flying critter drifting over the desert.

Hi everyone,

I need an honest opinion on this picture I took of Venus.

When I zoom in really close, I’m seeing something really weird.

Is it just me, or did I capture cloud detail? I honestly can’t tell.

Can someone help me figure this out?
