Thanks! Though, I only took the the picture. Haha!
My brother used a 3 inch, white, Berkley swimming shad, swim bait. Came right up next to the boat, it was a pretty cool first small mouth for him.

Oh yeah, very nice! That's a good size trout. My biggest was 15-17 inches. Lol! What did you use?
my brothers biggest one I believe was 25-27 inches, he loves fishing and fileting lol

I was ice fishing, so I just used a worm about a couple inches off the bottom.

There’s a little more to my fish.

First off, it was female. For some reason, it was getting ready to lay eggs in February when I caught it. I brought it home and it fed my entire family of five. When I started cleaning it out, I found a really big egg sack.

Since trout eggs are edible if you prepare them right, I kept the eggs, I was able to follow a recipe to prepare them, and I had them on crackers.

When you prepare trout eggs right, they are very delicious.

Wow! That's a really good size Trout! I love fishing, but I typically don't have much luck. I pray next year I can catch some nice, big fish. Haha!

I hear you, I used to be a fishing instructor for Boy Scouts. To catch big fish, you have to be at the right place at the right time using the right tackle. It’s not easy.
