It took me an hour, but I was finally able to fix the telescopes major failure.

I was cleaning out the coop today when something weird happened.

Somehow the solar disk wound up on the chicken’s tail. How that happened, I don’t know. There are no circular openings in the coop.

I was doing lunar photography last night, when I caught what looks like a “hidden Mickey.“

Thanks for the rereminder!. It looks like it starts at 11pm, peaks at 2am, and finishes at 5am central time here in AL. I might try and catch that...

I’m in the same situation.

I would hate to wake up at midnight to see the eclipse, only to find out that it’s cloud cover. Even then, I may not be able to try.

One of our exchange students is having surgery tomorrow for a teratoma, (that’s all I can say, so look it up if you don’t know what it is.)

I’m supposed to pick her up from Boise after the surgery tomorrow, so I might not even have a chance to see the eclipse, clouds or no clouds.

If any of you see the eclipse, please take pictures for me. I may not be able to see it.
