Nature's Hatchery is SLOW!

We ordered from them beggining of May. They said they would be here mid may. ok. We waited. and waited. We called, they said it would be the end of may. Ahhh! but ok. waiting... then they said beggining of june. FINE! AND NOW THEY WON'T CALL BACK! We are going to New York soon, so the plan was to get the chicks and they would be a month old right now! But NO, they would be 2 weeks old if we got them TODAY! My dad is trying to have them ship after we get back, for the chick's sake, AND THEY WON'T CALL BACK! EEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (RANT RANT RANT)

the same thing happened to me

first they said they would send me a email when they shipped out but they never did and then the date was much later then it was first supposed to be so finally i got my chicks. i can hardly ever get in touch with them when i email or call them.
and let me warn you i definitely did not get the right colors that i ordered and i dont know if they are even the right breeds

I got chicks from them this year and while they were slow to respond via e-mail I recieved my chicks exactly when they said I would....all arrived in great condition except one chick that they refunded....I am very happy with the chicks I got...some adorable and gorgeous little d'uccles and dutch bantams

I'm planning to show some, (for fun; they do not have to be perfect!) IF they are any good! Are they really that bad? How much is it to cancel? Are the birds pretty good quality?

DO NOT order from Natures Hatchery, they lie about what breeds they have, and they have too many crosses

They claim to have Seramas, but they are a cross between other bantams

I placed an order with them last week and their automatic email said they would be contacting me "shortly". It's been a week and I haven't heard anything so I just called and left a message. I'm thinking about just cancelling and putting in an order with Ideal. I'll have to order more chickens than I need with Ideal, but I'm sure I can give them away via Craigslist.

I called again and emailed them. I was on hold for three minutes before being kicked to voicemail. The one upside is that I got to listen to Canon in D while on hold, one of my favorite songs.
