When I wife bought feed this morning, she asked for medicated starter feed and they put this in her truck. The feed store assured her it was medicated but I don't think it is. Is this ok to feed to chicks or should she go back and get different feed?

It specifically says on the web page link you sent that it is non-medicated. Did you get your chicks vaccinated by the hatchery against coccidiosis?

No, but they sell scoops of medicated feed. Can i just buy that too and mix it in?

Maybe that would work? Not too sure. I've never tried it.

Hey there greysandy, I do Greyhound rescue here in Kansas!

The greyhounds are nice. We rescued a whipped, but my next choice was a greyhound.

I still have to make it out some day to the greyhound hall of fame in Abilene.

They are the best, but I don't think many of them are chicken friendly. They seem to know what their food is made from. Then again, my min pin who catches rats, mice and birds probably won't be all that friendly with the chickens either.

Greyhounds are generally more calm than a whippet and eternally more calm than an Italian greyhound.
