Naughty,naughty peas.

I did not get any sleep last night, my peas did not come home.
My peas never go so far they can not hear me call and they always come after a bit of time, just got to give them time to get
to me.
Yesterday i was clearing some land with the dozer nosie peas in tow eating the bugs and stuff i was stiring up and all was good.
I left to go refill my water bottle around 2pm amd when i came back they were gone, i figured they were in the loft of the barn when i could not find them, that is one place the like to hide from me(DH says they laugh at me up there) anyhow i wasn't worried they will show up at dinner time.
well dinner time came and went and no peas, so i started call and calling and took the 4 wheeler and went on a pea hunt, i got nothing, no call back from the peas when i called, nothing, i was getting worried real worried and they never showed up.

I was so upset i could hardly sleep, i woke up several times during the night and called for them and heard nothing back.

I got up this morning and put and Addy on a local website for lost peas, then got dressed in them hot camo pants and started to get my pea hunt started , it was to early to go to the neighbors so i made my rounds and nothing again.

Went back in to see if the addy posted yet but it was too early so i took another walk

I went in the house to get my keys when it got a bit later and was when i walked back outside i saw my dogs way out in the pasture where i had been working all of a sudden i saw Master P coming out of the woods followed by the rest and then the dogs behind them.

I should have followed the dogs into the neighboring woods yesterday cause apparently they were in there the entire time.

They were very happy to see me and were honking their head off and they were hungry.

I guess they were up in a tree all night, perhaps to scared to honk back but i sure hope they don't pull this again cause i sure need my sleep ya know.

Naughty naught Peas they were but i am so glad they are back .

yea well i don't think they got much sleep either last night they are roosting in their trees and they never do that in the daytime. LOL

Glad that they came back to you! I know I had an awful day a couple weeks ago when I came out to the pen in the morning to find the door wide open and all the peas out or gone. Thankfully I locked up the three that came right back (giving me the "oh crap, mom caught us misbehaving!" face), and the others came back to roost that night so I just closed the door behind them. It's scary!!

I got a birthday card with it , it was my pressy,

i know i am a girl but i love heavey equipment and i had been doing all my clearing by hand and with my tractors one of ,which does have a backhoe and loader, but i needed something i could dig a pond with ,trying to shoot a grade with a tractor is darn near impossible.
I have lots of areas to leval after clearing areas in the woods, i have been building a walking path around my place for the last 2 years and this is gona speed up the process for sure.

So DH wants to have a shop built so i made a him a deal, i would do all the dirt work and build up the site area ,finish my land clearing ,dig a new pond ,then if it survives me i will turn around and sell it.

I am in love with it.
