Naughty rooster

My boys haven't stooped to plastic pot level yet but one did suffer a broken beak trying to make babies with a cement frog.
Poor pot, used and now doomed to be thrown away, at least you don't have to repaint a frog. ;)
Right?!?! ya I was so confused when I had seen him doing that .I had to put it out on here to see if anyone else has had a rooster this ..umm...desperate . But don't worry the pot is OK ..although I think it might go out in the trash tomorrow instead of the reeuse pile for gardening next year

And let this be a lesson to everybody: ... chickens are NOT monogamous! One rooster per hen is a bad plan for everybody involved, including, apparently, garden statuary. But I have to say, I'm not sorry my order of pullets included a couple of cockerels. It was a little sad to send them to the butcher because they were so pretty, but MAN, the one I made dumplings out of the other day was amazingly DELICIOUS! Tyson may have lost my business forever, especially after reading in other threads how "meaties" are raised and processed.
