I’m in Northern California, I have (3) 9 ish month old RIR hens they are IB carriers. The vet told me I could bring in new birds because there is a vaccine. I got chicks yesterday. We are practicing strict bio security. The vaccine is administered at day 10 and day 16.
my question is that I can’t find a local supplier of vaccine and online wants to sell me 10,000 doses Price is $20-30, which is not break the bank but then shipping fee is as much as product cost. I can afford the $50 if necessary but I thought I would check with my chicken people to see if this is normal or if there Is a better way to go about doing this.
