Poco I had an awesome time, you did a great job. I know some things didn't go as planned, but it was still fun.
Ditto that!

Nice to meet you, we're the ones who came home with your Americana trio. Strangly enough, even though it has been HUBBY pushing us to get chickens, *I* am now conniving for a third coop since I managed to snag some gorgeous Cream Legbar chicks. Getting the new-to-us incubator set up for our first hatch ever, and totally under the spell of CHICKEN MATH!!!!![]()
Oh, and we sold a little honey, too.

I didn't know there would be SO many people, SO many birds and SO many things for sale. I wish I'd have gotten a motel room and been able to get there super early and helped set up and helped clean up. That's what I'm going to plan to do next year. Also-we've got one of those big super powered fans that'll blow the clothes off of you and I wish I'd have brought it for the barn. Someone could've gotten it back to me later since I left early. We could sure use a few of those next year.In the military at an event index, we do what is called an AAR, After Action Review. We get all the participants together and on a huge wipe board create two columns. One column is labeled "Sustain" that means what worked well and to continue with no change. The other column is labeled, "improve". The rule here is an "improve" can be listed, but should have a possible solution too.
After completing an AAR, then goes into the action plan to start the next event....regardless if the event is in a few months or next year. Who knows, is there enough interest to try an event like this again?...I think so, but am only a single voice....what say you?
READY, SET, GO!!!
