Near death experiences

I frequent nderf.org to read about people’s accounts of dying then coming back.

I also visit iands but find it a bit more difficult to navigate with the update, and oberf is about out of body experiences but I go to that one least often due to posts about drugs.

I also watch YouTube videos on it. If you have any near death experience stories please share. I think both my husband and I have had one but it is suppressed. I’ve heard of near death experiences not surfacing until years later. My husband was blue at birth- I need to ask his mom next time I see her if he was breathing. I was in the hospital often as a child due to bronchitis and asthma. I also have selective mutism due to being separated from my family at 10 months old and again at 2 years old. It has improved with age.

Anyway I don’t know if it’s a dream or a memory but I saw my grandma’s dad who died 7 years before I was born. Also rows and rows of people with ceramics. I have a potter’s thumb and wonder if it has anything to do with possible ancestors that worked with ceramics. One of my best friends is a ceramics teacher.

You have to be very careful with the youtube near death experiences (NDE's). I've realized a lot of them are fake stories created using AI after trying to verify dozens of them. If I watch one online, I want it to be the person that it happened to sharing their testimony. Most of the fake ones don't have any people in them and it's just a voice narrating them.

I find them interesting too. John Burke has done tons of research on legitimate near death experiences. I watched his interview on the Shawn Ryan podcast. He's wrote a couple books detailing what he's learned from interviewing hundreds of people about them. I bet those books would be a good read.

I quite enjoy NDEs! I haven’t watched a lot of them, because it is almost impossible to tell who is telling the truth. But it does fascinate me, as most of the NDEs I have read about or listened to align with my own beliefs about the afterlife. And about what is to come about on earth in the near future.

Here are two books that I have read in the past year about NDEs, I liked both (and both have similar things going on, which seems to validate some of my own beliefs!)

Sarah Monet - There Is No Death (I read this for free on Archive.org)

John Pontius - Visions of Glory (some controversy surrounds this book, but I very much enjoyed it! I bought a copy on Amazon but I bet it is available at most libraries.)

Also I was watching an NDE on YouTube last night and it was great - the guys name is Vincent Tolman. Here is the link to the one I watched. It had been recommended to me to watch from a friend starting at minute 47… so I watched the first 15 mins and then because it was very late, I went to minute 47 and watched the rest.

And this one I watched a couple of years ago, from a Doctor, and I remember loving it. What a wonderful lady!

I hope you enjoy! Sarah had a very hard life and hers is not a long book, but a good portion of it talks about her life and gives background information. The actual experience has a lot of interesting things that she sees happen to America, which are nearly identical to the things in Visions of Glory that happen, and also what Vinnie Tolman talks about as well. I believe that many people who are shown what will happen have seen a lot of the same stuff. And the things that are coming will be shocking.

I am super excited for the future, but only because I am very firm in my beliefs and in my faith in Jesus Christ. The world will be going through some very difficult times soon but everything will be okay in the end! Turning to Jesus Christ has made the biggest difference in my life, and faith has helped to overcome my fears. I just wanted to give a warning that if anyone may dwell on scary things that could happen, some of the NDEs that I mentioned may be disturbing. But hopefully they will be able to help people prepare for what is ahead rather than fear the future
