Nearly there..can hear chirping

This is my first hatch ...my broody bantam is sitting under three eggs...wasnt sure what day i was and was getting abit concerned but now i can hear chirping beneath her...im so excited...hope all goes well, and the broody keeps them warm in these cold morning s we are getting

congratulations!!!! I've only used my broody hens to hatch so far....I hope to get an incubator for back up or to hatch more if I need.

The broodys take GREAT care of the babies, even in the cold. They know their mothering that's for sure!

this morning i have two new chicks..one is black with feathery feet the other is black with white speckly spots on his/her head...shes still waiting for the third egg to hatch....how long should i leave the egg underneath her

cant believe how tiny these bantam chicks are....they are so cute

then two

now we are waiting for number three...she was only sitting on three...how long shall i give her...not sure when she actually laid them
