I was going to e-mail this picture to someone asking if my sick pullet had any sores in her mouth...she didn't, but I thought it was a neat pic and wanted to share - oh, all that yellow gunk at the edges of her beak is from the slurry I've been hand feeding her:

I've been hand-feeding this pullet for 7 weeks now, so she's used to me fiddling with her mouth, otherwise, I doubt I'd have been able to get the pic!

I was just wondering what percentage of the population would be excited about clicking on at thread that shows the inside of a chicken't mouth? I think we might be in the minority.
