Nebraska Swap - looking for interest! ( NOW INFORMATION INCLUDED! )

We are planning a animal swap in Lexington Nebraska at the end of August.

Chickens and other fowl will be welcome as well as small animals, rabbits, pocket pets, produce, products, etc.

It will be on a booth rental basis.

Please post you if you would be interested in attending, I am working on a website currently, and we will be sending out fliers to our mailing list.

As the former manager of one of the best exotic auctions I already have a mailing list of over a hundred people, as well as many of people who are ready to come! We expect it to be a great first annual event!

UPDATE:

The swap will be held at the Dawson County Fairgrounds in Lexington NE. It is right on I-80. We have a mailing list of 200 people and are expecting a large turn out. It will be held the last weekend of August, the 29th and 30th, with set-up available on Friday. There is room to park campers or set up tents as well as hotels ( no fires allowed ).

Yes Yes Yes! I have several friends who have been waiting for something like this in Nebraska, and itis so close to us. You can bet we will be there, (hopefully on my weekend off) so I can go the whole time. Please keep me posted.

Gothenburg is really close!

I used to manage the Lexington exotic sale, but working with family isn't a good plan, especially when you have a step-father who under pays you horribly! So the neighbors and I decided to set this up and have had a lot of interest!

We should have a set date on Monday, and the website is almost done, and will probably be up by the end of the week as well!

We will not be moving it each year. I managed the auction in Lexington for the last two years and the auction crowd is unbelievable, we're expecting a lot of the same people and would hate to lose our reputation by moving it around.

There is a swap in Allen, I'm not sure how much closer that is to Lincoln or not!
