3 of my chicks are almost 3 months old and I have been noticing this behaviour in them for many weeks now, and have tried everything to solve it ( Oatmeal, black seed, Bio Vitamin drops, Yoghurt, Corn...)
They raise their neck up and open their beaks, closing their eyes as if in a lot of pain and swinging their necks back and forth, losing their balance. One of them, had sadly died due to a leg injury and aforementioned repeated neck swinging. Their whole body shivers for a few seconds after doing this and they become very weak and lose balance. It isnt contagious, because I had seperated them for a while in a different coop and then let them play with the others for a few hours. I do know for a fact that both of them had incidences with hair. They both had a long hair stuck in their throats, and after long minutes of trying to take the hair out, we eventually cut the hair off, hoping it would come out in their stool. But it didn't. I don't know if its stuck in their crop, and i don't believe I can cope with another 2 of them dying. I also want to let them out in the sun tomorrow so they get some energy in their bones as their legs aren't as strong as they used to be since they keep sitting down. Please help as soon as you can if you are familiar with these symptoms and know anything to solve it. I wish to be able to treat it on my own
