Necropsy for cat in NJ

Thanks....The necropsy is getting done. It is what to do with the remains afterwards that I am struggling with.

Oh, I understand now. I'm sorry.
I can see your struggle, cremation is expensive, but your mind is mulling over the "disposal".
These decisions can be hard to make - having to consider your budget and your heart too. I mean no offense here - Peanut lives on in year heart and in your memories. What the lab has is a body. Whichever you choose, let them take care of it or cremation - you can still make a special place for Peanut in the yard. A collar or favorite toy, a letter to Peanut, anything like that can be buried in place of the remains, then mark that area with a stepping stone, painted rock, kitty statue or flower.
I usually put a marker for my dogs, I get a stepping stone that is engraved - you can find those on Etsy (look up pet memorials).
For my chickens that are special, I paint a rock with their name.
:hugs
