Necropsy for chickens?? Where do I find a place who does thiS?

We sold a chicken to someone who is not doing well. First thought to be broody but got worse. Where can we have this chicken tested to see for sure what is going on? We live near Wausau WI so if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Does anyone know the price on this? Or a website I could go to to find out the nearest place who does this?

Call the local ag extention office and they should be able to tell you. Some of the state colleges do it too.

I am in Ca, but i googled veterinary necropsy Ca and got the number of calif. agriculture & food safety. Here in Ca they will necropsy for free for backyard chicken owners. They want to know what diseases are going around private flocks. Maybe your state does the same. We just have to ship double bagged with blue gel ice packs and their submission form which is downloaded from the computer.
