See Sue your post I could really identify with. Man I just can’t imagine how much loosing your girl hurt. Come on now we all get attached and I would do just what you did.
I haven’t wormed mine either. I mix DE once a month into their feed as maintenance. I have dewormer. It’s for swine. I live out in the middle of no where. And that’s what’s available.
Next weekend we’re going shopping (3 hrs. One way)
And I’m going to go head and worm all of them.
Been having poopy butts on a couple and although there are no symptoms somethings just nagging at me ya know?
So again I’m truly sorry for your loss.
Perhaps her passing will prompt others to be proactive. It did for me.

I'll give them an oral dose of 20 mg/kg fenbendazole once a day for three days, it should take care of everything in one shot.

I'm going to wait til they're done molting in a couple of weeks.

You can hit them with valbazen or pyrantel pamoate as well as equimax for the tapeworms without any feather deformity as with fenbendazole.
