Mareks is pretty rare in quail, but it does happen. I am so sorry.

Well the final results came in: Microscopic findings are compatible with lymphoproliferative disease
caused by Marek's disease virus (MDV) and/or avian leukosis.

Much more serious than coccidia and not curable.

I have a call into my vet as they were going to be seen tomorrow. It looks like a total cull and clean is in order.

Thankfully I've kept them in quarantine since I got them.

Just an update: I ended up doing a total cull of the birds. And have cleaned out the area they were in thoroughly. Talk about a major process as bleach does not kill Marek's. I still have a shop vac to clean out, well disassemble and disinfect.
