Need a better hidey-hole for chicks' food. Ideas?

I always have chicken wire on hand or keep a crate in the barn in case of any problems or issues.

Good idea, but will have to use wood or plastic. My big girls can make very short work of some cardboard. Lol!

Totally go wooden. Super easy to make no-see-ems as we call them here.

Maybe try a small version of the bucket feeder with PVC elbow access? The bigger birds won't be able to reach the food.
